What a great surprise. I was looking for an inexpensive walk around shoe. This was much less expensive than expected especially since I wear a size 14, which are hard to find in the lower end costing shoes. I had low expectations for a $35 pair of shoes, but remember wearing Puma from when I was a kid. I figured it was worth a chance. I will not be doing any hi impact workouts, but just as a casual wearing shoe. To my surprise this shoe fits and feels great, with no uncomfortable rub spots. I wear them barefoot sometimes. I'll keep searching for these and other Puma shoes. I wouldn't mind having multiple colors in this shoe, but unfortunately no other colors in size 14.They feel so airy and light; no sweaty feet, and fit perfect. SUPER comfortable, even with walking on concrete 10 hours a day 7 days a week. Pretty decent soles on dirt, oil, and fluids too. Ended up buying a pair for my boyfriend for work also. Insoles do wear out kind of quick tho, but I walked all shift everyday.Had doubts upon unboxing these; they reminded me of cheap, Kung Fu shoes with the light mesh upper material, and no outsoles (all molded EVA midsole) and extremely light tread. Didn't think they would last more than a few hundred miles. On the upside, these don't feel like you're wearing shoes; they are extremely light, they breathe extremely well, and the "no outsole" design means that the shoe flexes with every step. Very comfortable.Turns out, looks can be deceiving. Four months and 400-500 road miles later, they still have some life left in them and remain as comfortable as ever.Don't really recommend these for high mileage on black top or concrete, but they held up better than expected.Only caveat: these are not highly supportive shoes. They are essentially racing flats that have enough sole to last hundreds of miles. My teen boys LOVE these shoes. I've been buying them these for the past 6 years for track, soccer, sports, everyday use, everything. They are very minimalistic - super lightweight and soft inside and out. Easy to run miles in. The toe area has nothing to rub on your feet and is stretchy, so it fits very well with no blisters. Great shoe. I bought my 17-year-old a pair of Reeboks and he has done nothing but complain that they aren't as good as his Pumas. Next, back to these! Just remember - BUY A 1/2 TO 1 SIZE UP. Pumas ALWAYS run small (my daughter and I also buy them - 1/2 size up).Cut to the take away, they aren't bad. I like the color and that they are retro, in that they have a tongue. (The New Balance I bought at the same time do not. Bad idea.) The dark forrest green is a good color. The mesh seems insubstantial, though, in that there is no lateral support. There is a tendency for the foot to want to slide off the sole in the direction of the other shoe. Other than that, and having zero arch support, a dismaying trend in contemporary shoe manufacturing, but one that has hardily bolstered Dr Scholl's bottom line, they aren't a total waste of money.Liked the fact that my old pair could walk apalachian trail same day I played golf in the same shoes. As good as it gets .Price right .Very comfy .Puma I wore playing soccer years ago .These shoes are durable comfy , just more summer wearing the winter . You can't go wrong.this is my 4th pair of Carson 2 sneakers. Various colors. All have performed as expected. Good fit, super comfortable, machine washable and affordable.I am a nurse and wear these 12 hours a day -- MY feet never hurtExtremely comfy and well made trainer's, lightweight and cool.Went on a trip and got these shoes for walking, my feet never sore the whole trip.
