I like these golf shoes and they are very comfortable but I noticed something unusual about them when they arrived. Not unusual enough to call attention to at the time but I will now. One of shoes white rubber trim appeared to be slightly green in sections rather than white. I shrugged it off. I did not wear the shoes for the first time until about a month later at which point I found that the white rubber trim stains immediately. Green! Think of it as grass stains. Sometimes grayish or brown depending on when you've been in the traps. After that first round with these Ignites they were no longer pure white and I could not restore them with multiple cleanings and different cleaning products. It's as if the stains absorb into the softer white rubber. Never had this happened before with any golf shoes I've owned that had white rubber trim connected to the soles??? Also, now in retrospect... I'm not sure if mine were game or practice worn before they arrived at my door step but the fact that one of the shoes had the green tint initially and the other did not remains perplexing. Despite the staining issue, for me the pros outweigh the cons. They do clean up all be it not perfectly and I'm not one that needs their golf shoes looking pristine or out of the box new. The worn and broken in look suits me fine. Also, Puma puts great effort into the aesthetics of their shoes. Unique details and design features which you can only see in person.
